About Currently Seeking

I've always been drawn to technology; first as a wide-eyed user, then a curious tinkerer, and now a designer and developer. Although the path that led me here has taken many twists and turns - from professional touring and recording artist, to employee of the year, to dean's scholar at UPenn, to small business owner and entrepreneur - I've never stopped engaging my passion to help others and solve problems.

Most days you can find me in a coffeeshop in Providence, running a small web design and development company called Brownborg Studios. Once a week, I visit RHD-RI to work with a courageous young man with cerebral palsy on an entrepreneurial endeavor to improve handicap accessibility in RI. In the spare time that's left over, I enjoy collaborating on other creative projects, like marketing and branding with Substantial Brand, video filming, producing, and editing with LMproductions, and building a soon-to-be-released web app with Skate Something. I occasionally make music on stage with these dudes, at a local club with this guy, or at a wedding under this name. I also make an award winning Belgian Pale Ale.

I'm currently seeking a position as a full-stack developer, in a modern, forward-thinking, and innovative organization where I can learn new skills, grow as a developer, and make meaningful contributions in a team environment. My greatest strengths as a developer are in front-end design and frameworks, such as Wordpress, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and SASS. I'm most interested in increasing my skills as a back-end engineer in languages or technologies like Ruby, RSpec, GIT, Angular/Node, AJAX, JS, APIs, and MYSQL.
